Range of Motion is a term that describes the ability of group of muscles and joints to move through space as dictated by joint flexibility, muscular tension, injury, and genetics. The mission of Range of Motion Wellness is to improve your personal range of motion in your life, your fitness, and your joints and muscles. I want to improve your whole life, body and mind.

Passion and integrity shape my practice. I can personally testify to the effectiveness of physical activity to improve and solidify my own wellness. For me Exercise Is Medicine; it keeps me feeling healthy and whole. I want to share this passion with you and customize programs to bring about your wholeness.

I am an insured, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer with significant experience in one-on-one settings and more than three years experience in group fitness settings. I am TRX and FMS level 2 certified for the assessment and application of corrective funtional exercises. I was training at a local gym and felt that so many of the services there weren’t reaching the people who might want or need it most, people who’s schedules don’t allow for hours in the gym. And I don’t believe that it takes HOURS in the gym to achieve life-altering results. I decided that I needed to bring simplified, effective workouts to clients where they live, home, park, streets, private fitness centers, and the workplace. I have seen what happens when poor-health as a result of inactivity and helplessness takes over. Together we can turn back the tides of time or certainly halt their progress.

I am a family man with a young son and an extraordinary wife. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mass Communication and the Environment but have had a personal drive for fitness since I was a teenager. What I never realized was that I was treating symptoms of depression and Attention Deficit Disorder, both of which respond well to consistent exercise and stress-reduction techniques. I have learned many tools and techniques through much exploration and training and am constantly increasing my knowledge base, my experience, and my trainings and certifications. TRX Suspension Training®,kettlebells, yoga, breathing, balance ball, mixed martial arts (MMA), flexibility, and weight training are all in my bag of tricks to provide and encourage functional training for life and wellness and combat high blood-pressure, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
